Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented instructional designer to join our team. As an instructional designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our GTM employees. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to design and develop high-quality instructional materials that meet the learning objectives and needs of our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and develop learning objectives.
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, simulations, and assessments.
- Utilize instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Select appropriate instructional strategies, learning technologies, and multimedia elements to enhance learning outcomes.
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and obtain feedback from stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multimedia developers, graphic designers, and other team members to produce high-quality instructional materials.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and usability testing to ensure instructional materials meet quality standards and are user-friendly.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and e-learning to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our learning programs.
- Evaluate outcomes linked to training objectives to measure training effectiveness and present results and recommendations for improvement.
- Creates internal (seller) sales content (e.g. playbooks, job aides) to aid in learning, on-the-job application, and skill development of sales roles.
- Collaborate with Marketing on creating external (customer-facing) sales content when requested.
- Maintains project stats and presents dashboards or reports on regular basis, and as request.
- Other duties as assigned – such as delivering training (virtually or in-person) as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, instructional technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning development, preferably in a corporate training, higher education, or e-learning environment.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and learning technologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating innovative and engaging learning experiences.
- Ability to complete projects independently using strong time management, planning, project management, and problem-solving skills.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $93,221 - 116,536. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
