About the Role:
Join Zone & Co. as our new talented Salesforce Admin! This position will report to the Director of Sales Operations. In this role, you'll be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our new Salesforce system. Responsibilities include project contribution, customization, reporting, data upkeep, and user support. We're seeking a proactive individual to help us elevate our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and managing the product roadmap. Your role will focus on ensuring user satisfaction through effective management, training, and solution design. We're seeking someone with a strong grasp of Salesforce, and adept at aligning technical solutions with business objectives. Let’s talk about responsibilities:
- Manage Salesforce configuration changes, encompassing Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
- Manage the Sandbox environment
- Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Develop a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Communicate any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Manage data to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Proactively maintain the system, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Address user support tickets and monitor and improve user adoption.
- Conduct new user and ongoing user training
- Handle day-to-day platform configuration, support, maintenance, and improvements.
- Assess and document existing GTM processes and practices, providing best practice solution updates and recommendations
- Collaborate with Operations and other Zone departments to create and maintain key reports and dashboards, and advise on data schema for external reporting
- Adhere to Zone IT standards for employee onboarding, offboarding, and role/permission updates to align with security policies
- Review and address the incoming queue of tickets for requesting new features and configuration changes
Requirements
Let’s talk about the requirements for the role:
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 3+ years of Salesforce Administration
- Certified Salesforce Administrator or other certs (Trailhead Badges/Super Badges, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder Certified, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce architecture and customization options
- Additional experience using data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Must be able to effectively work on multiple tasks, prioritize, and communicate realistic expectations to users
- Dramatic attention to detail
- Strong project management experience
