Who We're Looking For:

MRGN Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Devops Engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior Devops Engineer at MRGN Inc., you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our infrastructure and automation strategies. You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, along with a cluster of high-performance custom bare metal nodes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of applications, focusing on both cloud-based and bare metal environments.
• Manage and monitor our production and development environments to ensure high availability and performance, including a robust alerting and analytics system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system health.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly in high-stakes DeFi protocol environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment processes, with a focus on managing systems for a top-tier DeFi protocol.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement in handling complex infrastructural challenges.

Requirements

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficient in using HashiCorp tools such as Vault for secrets management and Envoy for service networking.
• Skilled in managing datastores including BigQuery and SQL databases, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
• Experienced in provisioning bare metal machines and optimizing kernel configurations for peak performance.
• Skilled in leveraging analytics and monitoring tools like Grafana, and proficient in using alerting systems such as PagerDuty for real-time incident response and system insights.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) are preferred for this position.
