The Role
Currently, we are looking for a highly-motivated Senior Partnerships Manager who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and has a passion for international travel.
This role will be responsible for managing our travel company partners (specifically travel specialists and our travel company partners from all over the world) to achieve higher levels of sales conversion and efficiency, resulting in higher revenue for the company overall.
The role involves:
- In-depth analysis on sales performance of our partners
- One-on-one coaching of our partners on best practices for higher sales performance
- Helping to develop and evolve sales best practices, using Zicasso’s data-driven methodologies
- Mentor junior team members - training them on partner management and effective sales analysis to ensure that our partners meet/exceed our high standards.
Our network of travel specialist partners is composed of the world’s best boutique tour companies, each one carefully pre-qualified by us. This role is key to driving the mutual growth of our shared sales.
This position is for Texas or Colorado residents: This is a fully-remote, full-time employee position for candidates who live in one of these states.
There is some flexibility in your work hours but it is required to overlap with California, eg. until 4pm Pacific Time Zone (GMT -8).

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current travel specialist partners’ best practices and overall sales performance with the goal of increasing revenue
- Manage key geographical regions to optimize lead capacity and track regional sales performance
- Schedule and conduct video coaching calls to determine if a partner is adhering to Zicasso’s best practices and to create a monthly action plan for each partner with the goal of increasing their overall sales conversion
- Participate in the creation of best practices documents as well as the maintenance of the online learning center
- Develop processes for scaling partner training through e-learning combined with personal coaching. E-learning curriculum might include consultative selling, up-selling techniques, best practices, Zicasso’s software features, etc.
- Help Zicasso build genuine, lasting relationships with our global network of travel specialist partners
- Work with our partners to ensure they deliver the best customer experience, sales performance, and adherence to Zicasso best practices
- Proactively look for improvement opportunities and drive change to make these improvements happen on a scalable level
- Intervene as necessary to resolve customer-related issues with travel specialist partners
- Closely mentor junior team members in the necessary analysis and proactive coaching of our travel specialist partners to ensure our partners are adhering to Zicasso’s best practices, and meeting and/or exceeding our minimum sales performance and customer service expectations
- Commitment to mentor junior members to develop their individual, continued growth by utilizing their strengths and building their areas of development
- Identify, vet, and onboard appropriate new travel company partners and specialists to ensure maximum mutual success
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of people management experience
- 8+ years of travel industry sales experience, especially in selling luxury travel
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience initiating and building strong professional relationships
- Passionate about travel - highly desirable if you have traveled to several countries and have a strong curiosity about international destinations
- Ability to lead and motivate others effectively, including promoting teamwork within your own team as well as across other teams
- Clear, concise verbal and written English communication skills
- Self-disciplined to independently meet and exceed set goals
- Detail-oriented and strives to achieve thorough, quality, and error-free work
- Highly efficient with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable with technology, readily able to learn and adapt to the use of new software to organize and track team objectives
- Thorough knowledge of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours - we partner with travel companies all over the world, so video meetings with them may have to be conducted outside of regular work hours to account for time zone differences
