Senior Producer

About the Role

This is a management role providing editorial oversight of Fantasy Life audio and video content, using data analytics to optimize performance, and partnering with stakeholders across the editorial organization and business teams on a range of initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, process and production of all Fantasy Life audio and video programming:
• Work closely with the host and editorial team on the show format, establish assignments and deliverables, and script/edit stories and segments.
• Produce rundowns, book guests and develop workflow to ensure timely delivery of shows
• Partner with Creative team to ensure the highest editorial, production, and technical programming quality.
• Manage talent and production schedules, workflow, roles, and responsibilities.
• Work with creators and provide guidance, support, and best practices.
• Prioritize skill development for all team members
• Assist social, editorial, video, creative, sales, and operations to integrate all content.
• Conceptualize and pitch programming ideas/segments and show formats.
• Dream on new formats, concepts, segments and opportunities for unique programming

Requirements

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Strong editorial judgment and deep knowledge of fantasy sports and betting.
• Elite-level knowledge of the NFL is an absolute necessity
• Proficiency in audio production, scripting and editing skills, and strong understanding of audio hardware, software, and facilities
• A deep understanding of the level of production appropriate for each segment, and how to use tape, sound design, and other audio assets to create the right emotional texture
• Experience coaching and developing host talent
• Detail-oriented and functions well under deadline pressure
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Education and Experience
• Experience working collaboratively with creative and editorial teams
• 10+ years experience in content development and production for tv, podcasts, radio, or audio content
• Experience managing both individuals and teams, including direct oversight of talent/ creators
• Previous experience with fantasy sports and/or betting content strongly preferred.
