Full Job Description

We are looking for a “hands on” Sales Account Executive to help lead the company's growth in the computer and network security industry. This position is remote and will report directly to the VP, Sales. As the Account Executive, you will leverage enterprise sales expertise as a seasoned sales professional to proactively and creatively prospect and hunt for new logo business while growing a base of some of the finest Fortune 500 clients. The Sales Account Executive will work closely with enterprise level clients to define their needs and collaborate with them to align them with the best SixMap solution for their organization. You will be highly collaborative with all internal groups from Product to Sales Engineering and Marketing to give stellar service to our prospective and current clients. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for pursuing & securing net new enterprise level customers across industries for its software solutions, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to sell to multiple constituents across the C-Suite and below while effectively communicate the compelling SixMap value proposition to prospective customers, cultivating potential partnerships and commercial relationships, and identify new potential markets for SixMap.

Responsibilities

    • Cultivate, generate, and grow large-scale relationships with new accounts across enterprise level customers across the U.S.
    • Collaborate internally and work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
    • Develop and implement customer relationship management plans for complex potential customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
    • Execute a business development plan to identify, evaluate, and structure key transactions to ensure continued financial health and maximum value creation through the entire product life cycle.
    • Develop a personal network within the sales territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote SixMap, and enhance its reputation.
    • Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard product solutions offered by SixMap that meet the customer's needs, together with quantities and solution configurations.
    • Present product solutions to the customer with a clear rationale and at standard commercial terms, referring to senior colleagues where necessary to ask for concessions (e.g., price reduction) that gain the customer's agreement.
    • Collect feedback from identified customers or customer segments to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses, and recommendations for changes based on customer input.
    • Enter customer information that has been gathered through research and/or through direct customer contact into Salesforce.com to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities OR ensure that team members maintain up-to-date customer relationship management data, identifying and resolving issues.

Requirements

    • 5+ years successful experience in an enterprise sales role within the networking and/or cyber security platforms industry.
    • Have active of former TS/SCI clearance.
    • Prior startup experience is also a must to be most successful in this role
    • Must have prior Enterprise selling experience, specifically looking for enterprise level logos for selling experience in the specified territory
    • Expertise in managing sales opportunities from prospect to closure
    • Demonstrated ability to forecast and manage information using SalesForce.com
    • Extensive contacts in the networking/cybersecurity security field
    • Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, geographically dispersed organization
    • 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
    • Ability to travel a minimum of 30%
