The Position

We are a rapidly growing healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer. Reporting to Director of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering on many data engineering initiatives towards our Salesforce (SFDC) integration with our Data Aggregation product roadmap. Working with engineering leaders and your peers, you will be developing conceptual designs, data integrations, data maintenance plans and optimizing data integration and reporting between SFDC and Claritas Rx data platform. The role partners very closely with Product Management, Architects, technical leads, and lead/principal Software Engineer(s) from other teams. Our Products generate actionable business and clinical insights for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions using Salesforce best practices for multi-tenant solutions.
• Provides technical expertise and recommendations for Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
• Establishes and builds processes and data integrations based on business and technical requirements to channel data bidirectionally between Claritas RX data warehouse and Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Designs, develops, tests, and deploys scalable solutions for the Salesforce Service Cloud platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other technologies.
• Customizes and configures Salesforce Service Cloud applications and functionality to support desired business processes.
• Ensures operational readiness of the services and meets the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, leveraging them to drive platform innovation.

Who You Are

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering/development experience
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce engineer with a focus on Service Cloud
• 3+ years of professional experience with Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization (Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues
• B.S. in computer science, engineering, or related degree
• Experience with Agile software development (e.g. scrum, Kanban)
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with enterprise class software release experience as well as SaaS based short, quick product life cycles
• Great energy and passion – must be comfortable in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
• Strong Analytical skills combined with a detailed oriented mindset
• Experience working with Bug Tracking tools such as JIRA
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment

Preferred:

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience working in AWS
• Passion for Agile Methodology
• Experience with healthcare data
• Familiarity with HIPAA/SOC/HITRUST requirements
