What you will do:
• Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive awareness of UTR Sports, support company initiatives, engage followers, and attract new ones
• Contribute to UTR Sports’ content calendar management and creation, including writing and editing blogs, press releases, email and newsletter copy, social captions, video/graphic production briefs, influencer briefs, and more
• Edit and publish freelance writers’ work as needed
• Assist with managing the social calendar (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
• Troubleshoot social posting and boosting issues
• Conduct community engagement; respond to comments and messages directed at our accounts
• Work directly with the UTR Sports production agency for the creation of social assets (ie. graphics and videos); manage requests and feedback from internal departments
• Contribute to social media metrics reporting
• Help oversee ambassadors and influencers to boost business objectives
• Support UTR Sports’ digital advertising initiatives, specifically social boosting
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
- 3+ years of experience in content and social media, including previous work with social media management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; SEO knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of tennis and pickleball is a definite asset
- Interest in tennis, pickleball, technology, and marketing industries
- Strong expertise with social platform tools and current posting guidelines
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours and weekends
- Ability to work with agencies, across departments, and with remote teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and willing to dig in to solve problems as they arise
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organized
- Desire to learn and be part of a fun, fast-growing team
- Basic graphic design skills are strongly preferred
- Paid social media experience
- Ability to capture engaging social content at events (on phone)
- Eager to learn, desire for responsibility and ownership
- Willingness to travel (to events and tournaments, as needed)
Benefits
What we Offer:
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $70,000 - 90,000 annually plus an equity compensation package. The final base salary for this role will take into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location differential associated with where the position will be filled.
UTR Sports is headquartered in Palo Alto, CA but this position is fully remote, US-based. In addition to salary and equity compensation, we offer flexible working hours and generous PTO. Our other benefits include:
