As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for growing ACE’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive student engagement, and support our marketing goals. You will report to the Vice President of Performance Marketing and will collaborate closely with various departments to create and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms.

Summary
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for growing ACE’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive student engagement, and support our marketing goals. You will report to the Vice President of Performance Marketing and will collaborate closely with various departments to create and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms.
Compensation
ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high quality, affordable programs for our students. The starting salary range for this position is $60,000 plus all full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education, prior experience, and expertise being applied to the role.

Day to Day Responsibilities
In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:
- Social Media Strategy:
- Work with the VP, Performance Marketing to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned which align to the overall marketing objectives and institutional goals
- Identify and define target audiences for social media campaigns.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media channels, trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the college remains at the forefront of digital engagement.
- Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand presence online.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, video) for all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging channels.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts.
- Collaborate with the creative and content teams to create high-quality and engaging content, graphics, and videos.
- Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster and grow an active community of followers by encouraging engagement and building relationships with key influencers and stakeholders.
- Interact with prospective students, current students, and alumni via the company’s social media accounts.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by followers and escalate to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Performance Analysis and Measurement:
- Track, analyze, and report on core KPIs and associated metrics such as reach, engagement, conversions, and follower growth to measure the success of social media efforts.
- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust strategies, optimize campaigns, and improve performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance to the VP of Performance Marketing and other stakeholders.
- Analyze the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes, and measure a campaign’s performance against these KPIs.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to support integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborate with the Director of Digital marketing to align organic social media efforts with broader paid marketing campaigns.
- Research and Insights:
- Research social media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.
- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms and technologies that can enhance the college’s digital marketing efforts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in higher education or a similar industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
