JeffreyM is looking for a Social Media Strategist to join our growing team! As a Strategist, you will be at the forefront of our digital presence, crafting dynamic strategies that amplify our brand voice across various social platforms. You will leverage your expertise to drive brand awareness, cultivate customer loyalty, and ultimately propel our business objectives forward. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and stay ahead of the curve with emerging social media trends and technologies. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for connecting with current and future customers through innovative social media storytelling.
**This is a contract position planning to start July 1st, 2024 and go through June 30, 2025 with a high chance to extend**
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications plans for key strategic initiatives.
- Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets.
- Work closely with the editorial team to maintain a continuous drumbeat on content ensuring that our audience is focused on what is most relevant to them.
- Lead the creation of campaign creative briefs for internal and external teams. Ensure that each marketing initiative ladders up to a cohesive strategy.
- Be the primary advocate for our audiences. Ensure that strategies are designed with them in mind.
- Partner with our insights team that expands our understanding of the audiences we reach.
- Ensure that all our work is backed by concrete qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Partner to quantify the impact of our work and develop narratives that communicate the collective value of our marketing initiatives.
- Polished client presentation skills demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in social or digital strategy – agency setting preferred. Tech experience a plus.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on aligning communications with organizational goals.
- Experience working with creative teams and/or creative agencies to develop provocative, breakthrough work on brands in rapidly evolving categories.
- Great cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. The ability to translate complex critical thinking into simple, focused narratives that can travel across the organization.
Benefits
Compensation Range: $70,000-$90,000/yr
**This pay range is Client-specific for the opening advertised. The identity of the Client will be disclosed if you are selected to move forward in the hiring process.
