About the Role:
We are looking for a Sr. Director of Product Management to join us as we define, build, and deliver our industry disrupting platform. As a product leader, you will have the unique opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an exciting company. The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of building successful products, strong domain expertise in our areas, and an ability to execute and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CEO to ensure that the product strategy aligns with the overall company vision and business objectives. Develop and manage the product roadmap and ensure that the roadmap aligns with the strategic priorities set by the CEO.
- Lead a team of product managers, associate product managers, and product designers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team meets its goals.
- Manage the allocation of resources (time, budget, personnel) within the product team to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that product features are developed according to specifications, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align product development with market needs and customer feedback.
- Regularly gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Conduct or oversee market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for product differentiation.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs, market demands, and business goals. Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic objectives.
- Plan and oversee the execution of product launches. Ensure all aspects, from development to marketing, are coordinated effectively.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product line or segment. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust the product strategy as needed.
- Identify areas for improvement in product processes and drive initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Regularly communicate product progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience with an enterprise software or SaaS company.
- 5+ years in a leadership role, managing product managers or cross-functional teams.
- Strong focus on user experience (UX) and customer-centric design principles. Ability to translate customer needs and market demands into innovative and effective product solutions.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform product decisions. Experience with A/B testing, customer feedback loops, and other methods for measuring product success.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams. Experience in driving cross-functional initiatives and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Domain experience in one or more of the following: CAD, BIM, Construction takeoff/estimating is preferred.
