At Metafy, we’re working hard to innovate the ways in which creators become entrepreneurs. We have created the most sophisticated coaching platform in the world, not just in gaming. Metafy also helps content creators earn a living through our classes, groups and guides features. Fully distributed, we’re a globally remote workforce, founders-led, privately held company funded by Forerunner Ventures, DCM, Seven Seven Six, and other world-class investors.
Oh, and Metafy owns a gaming focused talent agency called Sumo. That’s where you come in. That side of our business has grown and needs help. Could you be that help? We hope so.
This position would be considered senior associate or the step above entry level. Metafy proudly boasts a 100% remote workforce however this position will be expected to maintain standard business hours on Eastern Time Zone. We are looking for someone with potential that can be trained into a well oiled, creator and brand supporting machine.
What You’ll Do
- Work with our customers and creators to manage content campaigns from start to finish.
- Act independently to contact cold and prequalified brands to sponsor our clients.
- Make phone calls and send emails to new brands and creators
- Respond to inbound emails in a timely fashion & negotiate business deals for creators (with support).
- Manage your own roster of talented content creators, ensuring that they have financial success with our agency.
- Help our clients fully utilize Metafy’s product suite.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders. Relationship management is your secret weapon and strong emotional intelligence is your ultimate ‘trap card’.
- Exceptional customer focus
- Knowledge of the content creator ecosystem within gaming (Twitch, YouTube, etc.) There are many moving parts and you need to see how they fit together. While not necessary, first-hand content creation experience is a plus.
- The ability to handle rejection when doing cold outreach to customers.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Sales experience is a plus. For clarification this is not a sales first role, however helping the team contact new brands and creators is an important part of helping the team be successful.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 USD per year.
