Full Job Description
Responsible for sourcing, screening, negotiating with and attracting qualified potential employees and consultants primarily to work for Clients of MWResource. Work closely with the Resource Manager to understand client needs, screen candidates, and manage the recruiting process from start to finish.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support MWR clients in building their FTE teams and achieving their business objectives.
- Develop and execute recruiting plans and strategies to develop strong candidate pool for direct hire positions.
- Attract and build relationships with qualified candidates for MWR client positions.
- Write, post, and maintain job descriptions on relevant platforms, especially LinkedIn, Workable, and the Company website.
- Source candidates using ATS, LinkedIn, Workable, and other job boards.
- Evaluate candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Update ATS with recruiting tasks and activities.
- Schedule and conduct candidate screening calls.
- Check candidate resumes for quality and content.
- Create candidate summaries and rates for internal submission for review/approval.
- Schedule and conduct thorough and detailed candidate screening calls, interviews and interview prep calls with candidates.
- Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Present verbal offers and offer negotiation with candidates.
- Attend weekly internal and client meetings as required.
- Negotiate offers with candidates and build long-term relationships with candidates in the industry.
- Collaborate with Resource Manager and MWR client hiring managers to develop job descriptions, compensation packages, and other hiring-related details.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of technical and/or electrical or mechanical engineering recruiting experience.
- Direct hire experience strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in sourcing tough to find candidates.
- Electrical utility industry experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for recruiting.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- A high level of ethics and confidentiality.
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Team player.
