At VERSES, we're shaping the future of computing with our natural computing platform, Genius. We're looking for an expert Technical Writer who is capable of navigating the fast-paced environment of our product development teams. Our teams produce game-changing platforms & developer tools that enable new forms of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence leveraging in-house advancements in Neuroscience and Mathematics.

Our ideal Technical Writer is adept at translating complex machine learning concepts & features into simpler terms that target enterprise developers and others who might be new to AI and ML.

✍️ Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Management to define and create compelling content that guides developers to success with our products
• Contribute to, and provide editing support for published docs, blog posts, and articles about our products and what you can do with them
• Collaborate extensively with Product and Engineering departments to build content pipelines using appropriate project management tools (Jira, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Design and author clear, concise, and structured guidance content, press releases, and FAQs, for internal and external audiences
• Proactively identify product documentation needs (review, edit, and/or rewrite documentation) as well as ensure content quality (edit, review, revise)

🎓 Essential Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of developers, developer content, technical content, and general programming topics
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with two years of technology-based technical writing, content creation, and/or documentation management experience
• Established ability to learn technical concepts quickly
• Strong command of the English language: an eye for detail, meticulous grammar, and proofreading skills
• Ability to self-manage day-to-day tasks with minimal guidance and deliver under tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

• Master or higher degree or equivalent experience in computer science, neuroscience, or related field
• Experience with AI/ML/neuromorphic computing
• SEO expertise
• Photo & graphic editing software (photoshop/illustrator)
• Screen capture software (e.g., Snagit, Skitch)
