Acentra is looking for a Vice President of State Sales to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Executive Sales is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to expand the company’s Medicaid portfolio. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful acquisition and retention of Medicaid clients.

Job Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet company targets for Medicaid business growth.
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for new sales.
· Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall company growth objectives.
Revenue Growth:
· Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the Medicaid sector.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Medicaid market.
· Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and track progress through the sales cycle.
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including state Medicaid agencies, other relevant HHS agencies, and advocacy groups.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
· Work with operations to conduct business reviews with clients to identify opportunities for additional sales and service improvements.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
· Work closely with marketing, product development, and operation teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
· Participate in product development discussions to ensure new products meet the needs of the Medicaid market.
· Collaborate with the finance team to develop pricing strategies and contract terms.
· Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to drive team success.
Reporting and Analytics:
· Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline status, sales performance, and market trends.
· Provide regular updates to the executive team on progress toward sales goals and strategic initiatives.
· Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize sales processes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
· Proven track record of success in strategic sales and client management roles within the Medicaid market.
· Strong understanding of Medicaid programs, regulations, and policy.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
· 50% - 60% travel required.
