Janitorial Worker - Warehouse

We are currently looking for a reliable Janitorial Worker to join our busy Distribution Center located in Salt Lake City! This position will work Monday – Friday 8AM-4:30PM and start at $16-$18/hr.

Principal Responsibilities

• General cleaning of warehouse/distribution center which receives and ships PVC and pipe-related building materials

• General custodial work including mopping, sweeping, trash removal, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, breakrooms, conference room, and warehouse floor.
• Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards in accordance with 5S protocols
• Reporting unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis

Requirements

• 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Ability to meet daily deadlines and to work in an environment where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day
• Able to speak, read, and write in English
• Previous janitorial experience including cleaning floors, restrooms, offices. Previous experience working in an industrial warehouse preferred
• Ability to stay on your feet for long periods at a time
• Capability to be self-motivated and independent, but work will within a team
• Good communication skills
• Proven to be reliable, diligent and punctual
• Successful completion of drug screen, physical, and criminal background check
