Mobile Phlebotomist

KagenMD, an exclusive concierge medical practice, is searching for a skilled and dependable Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care to our valued practice members. In this position, you will be responsible for skillfully collecting and preparing blood samples for laboratory testing, accurately documenting sensitive patient information, and driving to different locations in the Park City and Salt Lake area to meet the needs of our members and medical team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in challenging blood draws, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job. This position offers a competitive salary, starting at $25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Travel to collect blood samples and perform tests
• Follow established protocols and safety measures to perform venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of collected samples
• Maintain knowledge of different blood collection techniques and equipment
• Handle and transport specimens in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with contracted lab facilities to ensure accurate specimen collection and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Transport and maintain health equipment
• Communicate with our members, team, and associated businesses with a high level of professionalism

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or related role
• Excellent understanding of phlebotomy procedures and best practices
• Great time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
