As our Operations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, driving day-to-day operations with creativity and innovation. You'll be instrumental in upholding our commitment to excellence, ensuring that every aspect of our operations reflects the highest quality standards. Beyond traditional tasks, you'll have the freedom to infuse your role with fresh ideas and inventive solutions, helping to shape the future of our brand.
Reports to:
You'll be at the heart of our operations, working hand-in-hand with our visionary Founder + CEO to drive innovation and excellence.
What your typical day would look like:
- Strategic Project Execution: Overseeing key initiatives end-to-end, create new processes, procedures, and project management systems to deliver results efficiently and effectively while maintaining focus on quality.
- Project Management: Oversee projects (brand new products we plan to bring to market) from ideation through completion, ensuring they’re completed on time, while ensuring they’re executed flawlessly within budgetary constraints-all without losing sight of our end customers.
- Supply Chain Mastery: Nurture relationships with our manufacturers ensuring clear communication during the product development phase. Navigate complexities, guaranteeing smooth operations between suppliers, warehouses, and delivery partners to ensure a great customer experience.
- Distribution: Oversee our pack and ship distribution processes in collaboration with our 3PL, bringing innovative strategies to optimize logistics and processes.
- Customer Service: Collaborate closely with our Customer Experience team to create unforgettable moments throughout all stages of interaction.
- New Product Launches: Partner seamlessly with our CEO to craft captivating launch kits that showcase new products in ways both informative and irresistible (including product launch videos/photos, press boxes, etc.).
Other Responsibilities would include:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, processes and guidelines to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management & finance to maintain adequate supplies.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Manager, Business Administration (or related field), or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in Operations Management
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
- Proficiency in using project management software
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience successfully leading and managing a team for at least 2 years
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Must be able to recognize process issues and come up with a solution quickly
