Full Job Description
The Class Dean Coordinator supports all operations of the Class Deans. They are responsible for all administrative processes within the deans’ purview in supporting students in the undergraduate college.
This is a full time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $18.63-22.82 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as primary Deans' office manager and primary contact with outside organizations and departments, responding to technical administrative or operational questions and ensuring necessary follow up.
- Oversee the Deans' office's use of Advocate software platform; analyze related procedures and lead or make recommendations for improvements.
- Track students' academic statuses and provide accurate student-status related reports and communications to Deans, academic offices, students, and families.
- Utilize College software systems (Banner, Power BI, Argos) to process essential Deans' office tasks, and to provide Deans and other colleagues with accurate and current student data.
- Provide guidance and advice to students, student organizations and other student groups; Refer students to appropriate resources and supports.
- Assessment, Design, location coordination, promotions, implementation, budgeting, and delivery of a wide range of Dean’s Office programming for undergraduate students.

Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a college student services
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Google apps, and willingness to be trained as an administrator in campus software systems including Oracle, Banner, PowerBI, etc.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the work in accordance with state and federal law and College policy.
- Able to work cooperatively with others and accept direction from supervisors.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
