Full Job Description
As a member of the Operations team at OnLogic, you have a quality mindset and will work hands-on with the team playing an integral role in scaling the manufacturing of our state of the art industrial computers. This is a new role with room to make a significant impact. You will help us develop the tools and processes needed to improve efficiency, while increasing the quality and reliability of the computer systems we build.
You thrive in a fast paced environment and are practiced in working with teams to prevent Operations down time, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time. You take a hands-on approach and actively identify continuous improvement opportunities.
On an average day, you'll...
- Prevent Operations downtime and respond to escalations enabling quick restart of production and follow through with root cause and solution implementation.
- Validate new product readiness for production.
- Improve production and test processes for effective manufacturability.
- Create process documentation, training, and operating instructions as appropriate.
- Implement test automation tasks and develop new processes.
- Provide support where needed to keep operations running smoothly, including assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer returns.
- Responsible for customer escalations related to production quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and deliver on continuous improvements in product quality and the efficiency of our production processes.

Our Operations team is responsible for building, testing, packaging and shipping OnLogic technology around the world. Their tireless attention to detail, and commitment to quality lets us boast about how reliable and configurable our systems are. Members of the Operations team cross-train on multiple disciplines to provide us with unparalleled staffing flexibility and the capability to react to any production demand. Always living up the way we work through continuous improvement and process optimization, Operations is where project plans and technical specifications become a reality. Roles on the Operations team include computer production, hardware testing, fulfillment services, supply chain management, product and process quality, production engineering and technical support.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a production/process/manufacturing engineer or similar responsibilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and test design.
- Experience with computer and software troubleshooting in both Linux and Microsoft OS environments.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
- Drive efficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Project management skills to help prioritize and execute multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Collaborate with all levels and functions, both internal and externally.
- Ability to occasionally work off production hours.
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related Fields.

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $90,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
