Sigma Defense is seeking an experienced military trainer in SLAMEX/TLAM operations to support Tactical Training Group, Atlantic (TTGL) in Virginia Beach, VA as the SLAMEX/TLAM Training Lead. The individual in this role will oversee and coordinate all aspects of TLAM exercise and certification schedules. You will develop TLAM certification program requirements/scenarios and provide TLAM certification program management support.
The ideal candidate is a former Fire Controlman or Fire Control Officer with experience with all aspects of TLAM exercise and certification schedules. Five years' experience with the TLAM program including involvement in all major phases of TLAM training events. In addition, you should have Strike Group (SG) or Numbered Fleet Commanders (NFC) or equivalent experience with TLAM training. At least two years' experience as a JSAF operator is desired.
This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the following:
- TLAM program including involvement in all major phases of TLAM training events (Phases 1 - III).
- SG, NFC, or equivalent involving TLAM training.
- 2 years of experience as a JSAF operator.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the following:
- Subject matter expert for respective task requirements (e.g. Academics, Warfare Area(s), Program or Policy support).
- Training manager.
- Developing training curriculums.
- Conducting fleet/ joint training assessments to identify gaps, training needs and solutions.
- Delivering training in person and/or online.
- Developing and modifying training event/exercise scenarios.
- Managing training projects.
- Team and/or project leader.
- Designing custom training to meet training objectives.
- Public speaker and presentation skills.
- Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level.
- Handling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Top Secret security clearance or higher. A TS/SCI clearance level is required for this position.
- A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree is two additional years of Resource Band experience.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
Support Tasks:
- (a) Oversee and coordinate all aspects of TLAM exercise and certification schedules.
- (b) Coordinate with lead exercise planners and directors from partner training organizations during planning and execution of synthetic training events involving TLAM scenarios/vignettes.
- (c) Develop TLAM certification program requirements and scenarios and provide TLAM certification program management support.
- (d) Develop, refine, supervise and conduct distributed synthetic unit and SG TLAM proficiency assessments for certification purposes.
- (e) Provide expertise for all aspects of the TLAM training program including Doctrine, NFC procedures, ROE, TTPs, and best practices.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually.
