Are you a detail-oriented administrative professional with experience in insurance billing and a passion for supporting mental health services? Join our team as an Administrative Assistant in a busy mental health practice, where your skills will make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process insurance claims, verifying coverage and managing denials.
  • Accurately track and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Reconcile payments and ensure timely invoicing.
  • Maintain patient accounts and manage billing records.
  • Utilize specialized billing software for data entry and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the front office team and practice owner to ensure smooth operations.



Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Disciplined attention to detail is a must
  • Previous experience in insurance billing and accounts receivable, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
  • Proficiency in billing software and strong general computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with insurance providers and team members.
  • Compassionate professionalism – the ability to interact well with patients while maintaining professional demeanor and attitude of caring.
  • Experience with provider credentialing and payroll management a plus.
