Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
· The AM intern will work alongside Phillips world-class additive technicians to operate LPBF, DED and FS machines.
· The AM intern will rotate through the AM CoE to learn and better understand each of the three main additive technologies. This will include programming, setting up, monitoring, take out of operation, inspection, and packing for delivery.
· The AM intern will learn what goes into preparing for the next job in the print queue, build file setup and programming, maintenance of equipment, and powder / material inventory.
· The AM intern will learn the different types of criteria for part screening and selection of parts to determine if a part can be produced by additive manufacturing methods.
· The AM intern will aid in input of technical and quality documentation and Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
