Automotive Cost/Sales/Parts financial controller - Auto Repair/Collision Repair

Colonial Beach Auto, a reputable full-service Collision Center, Auto Body Repair, Paint Shop, and Computerized Auto Repair company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Cost/Sales/Parts Financial Controller. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our Auto Repair and Collision Repair operations, including cost control, sales analysis, and parts management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective cost control measures to optimize profitability.
• Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and manage inventory and parts to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies and action plans.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost control measures and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in financial management software, such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of auto repair and collision repair operations is preferred.
