Position Description:
AWS Cloud Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
Self-starter with sharp decision-making skills, ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize in a fast-paced and changing environment.
3+ years of software development experience
3 + Hands-on experience with AWS services is mandatory.
Use AWS Console/CLI to perform tasks in services such as VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and Glue
Instantiate and configure AWS EC2 instances with a variety of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
1 + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, ArgoCD
1+ years of experience with developing solutions to capture latency, system uptime, and performance metrics of applications in a distributed architecture.
Experience with serverless computing and container orchestration technologies, including AWS Lambda, and Amazon ECS/EKS is a bonus.
Experience with Big Data Platforms such as Databricks, Jupyter Hub, Data Lakes, NiFi is a bonus
Experience with SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQl is preferred
Investigate and resolve technical issues.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Mandatory 3 years of professional experience
Aviation experience is a bonus
Able to obtain a federal clearance
