We are currently seeking an experienced IT Program Manager – SME (AWS Cloud) to join our team.
This candidate will be responsible for managing various system engineering projects utilizing a structured project management framework for the Government in the IC. The position will require the PM to develop and maintain requirement matrices, hold daily scrum meetings with the team, and develop work breakdown structures and project schedules in accordance with work scope. The PM will be expected to foster collaboration between key project stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from legacy project management and traditional infrastructure to cloud based solutions and numerous Agile best practices. This role will work directly with IT modernization consultants, cloud solution architects and cloud engineers in translating IT strategic goals, roadmaps, and business requirements into future state architectures designed to leverage multi-cloud solutions.
Primary Job Duties & Required Job Qualifications:
Serve as single POC to the Sponsor regarding oversight of all software and infrastructure project efforts. Will also provide status updates and take action regarding project implementation issues.
- Demonstrated experience developing project plans, to include defining measurable milestones and criteria.
- Demonstrated experience developing realistic project schedules.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating, supporting, and participating in program meetings and reviews.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying web, internet, and cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with systems engineering lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience building cloud-native apps leveraging SecDevOps.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering with one or more of the following: AWS, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, or IBM.
- Demonstrated experience performing data exploitation-retrieval, triage and pre-processing, analysis, reporting, or visualization of complex datasets.
- Demonstrated experience administering and deploying cyber security tools in the Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience with information security technologies and security guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying ICD 503 standards.
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge of various security assessment tools (i.e., WebInspect, Splunk, AppDetective, and Nessus).
Preferred Experience & Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Previous experience working with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud
- CISSP certification

· Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security is required
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 16 years minimum of relevant professional work experience

· Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships
· Ability to prioritize, demonstrated strong organizational skills, and ability to meet or exceed deadlines
Physical Demands: Position will require frequent sitting, standing, and/or mobility within an office setting. Employee must be able to use hands to complete work at a workstation/computer, be able to reach, type and manipulate with hands, fingers, and arms; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; talk, see and hear.
Work Environment: Work is performed on client site in a professional office environment with moderate stress and noise levels. Position requires employee to effectively use a computer, potentially for long periods of time, and to accommodate potentially frequent interruptions. Candidate should be both customer-focused and present a team approach to overall work.
Schedule: Business core hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. Standard work hours may vary for this position based upon contract requirements. Position will be located onsite at a customer facility in Herndon, VA.
