As an experienced and successful Business Growth Leader you will leverage your existing relationships within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with a primary emphasis on driving growth through strategic wins. Your ability to position and win business in Cyber Security, DevSecOps, Cloud, AI/ML, and Emerging Enterprise Technologies is essential to your success.
Responsibilities
- Extend existing and establish new relationships with key program stakeholders and procurement professionals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive client account plans, strategies, and opportunity pipeline.
- Identify and qualify key business opportunities aligned with corporate capabilities and focus areas.
- Establish strategic relationships with potential business partners, focusing on organizations that have complementary skills and established client relationships or contract vehicles required to provide the highest win probability (Pwin).
- Help shape procurements to favor our offerings and recommend evaluation criteria to improve Pwin.
- Understand the objectives and requirements of RFPs and establish a strategy/story of "Why Us” for specific opportunity pursuits.
- Develop opportunity-specific competitive intelligence and analysis, identifying relative strengths and weaknesses of competitors.
- Participate in the capture and proposal process, including compliance and quality proposal reviews to ensure they contain "voice of the client”.
- Develop and maintain a 2-year sales pipeline/forecast.
- Schedule and conduct meetings at all levels within a client organization up to and including SES.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Capture, Proposal, HR/Recruiting, and solutions experts.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, or commensurate years of experience.
- 8+ years of successful business development experience (capture and win) with at least 2 years of recent marketing, selling, and winning business within the FAA.
- Solid knowledge of the federal government procurement process.
- Demonstrated success maximizing Pwin and closing deals.
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills and experience interacting with clients.
- Ability to operate as an integral member of our team, forging effective relationships across the entire organization.
- Provide thought leadership and collaboration with clients to identify and position new opportunities resulting in robust pipelines.
- Proven track record of building and fostering productive client relationships within the federal government.
- An entrepreneurial drive, and presence to take initiative to identify and pursue innovative ideas.
- A network of contacts to enable promoting Go-to-Market partnerships and contracting/sub-contracting options.
- Experience "rolling up your sleeve” supporting proposal activities in win strategy sessions, writing, and reviews, as required.
