Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications Specialist to join our EAP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and disseminating engaging and informative communications that educate on various mental health topics and promote EAP services to our diverse range of EAP accounts. This role requires a blend of creative writing, planning, teamwork, and effective communication skills to ensure that our EAP offerings are effectively communicated to our clients and their employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality content for a variety of communication channels, including email newsletters, handouts, tipsheets, articles, blogs, brochures, and podcasts, tailored to educate on various mental health-related topics and promote EAP services to client organizations and their employees.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the EAP team to design and implement communication strategies that effectively highlight the benefits and features of our EAP services, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
- Client Communication: May work directly with EAP accounts to understand their communication needs, preferences, and awareness calendars. Customize and deliver communications that address these needs and promote engagement with EAP services.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute communication campaigns that drive awareness and utilization of EAP services. Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Educational Materials: Create educational and promotional materials that enhance understanding of EAP services, support soft-skill development in workforces, and support client efforts to promote these resources within their work organizations.
- Feedback and Reporting: Collect and analyze feedback from clients and employees regarding EAP communications and services. Prepare reports and presentations to track engagement and impact.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as account management and organizational services to ensure cohesive messaging and effective delivery of communications.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication tools to continually enhance the effectiveness of EAP promotions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, or a related field; or a degree in a mental healthrelated field, with proven experience demonstrating necessary writing and communications skills.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the EAP, or if not, within mental health, healthcare or the wellness sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to develop and execute communication plans.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with content management systems and email marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus
Salary range $46,440.00 - $69,660.00 per year
