Full Job Description
We are currently hiring for Conference Service Aide (Housekeepers) to join the National Lutheran Communities & Services family. This role has a high level of resident interaction and daily positive impact. This opportunity mainly performs complex and routine housekeeping work, cleaning in assigned areas like public spaces and assists with event set up. They also partner with other departments to insure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment.
Requirements
This role does require knowledge and proficiency of environmental services practices and the ability to operate floor care machines and high-speed buffers. Must have knowledge of detergents, germicides, strippers and other cleaning/chemical supplies and knowledge of stripping and waxing floors. You will need to be able to communicate at all levels, perform routine and repetitive tasks and work effectively independently. If you have experience in a hospital or healthcare community, even better!
