IT Concepts Chief Innovation Office is recruiting a Mid to Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to promote innovation across all of ITC’s projects and programs. This role is part of a fast-paced and fast-growing office within ITC. Innovation is a priority for ITC and a priority for our leadership. The CINO Innovation team is a cross functional team chartered to advance collaboration, efficiency, and adoption of emerging technologies - this role will support leadership and assess, define, and capitalize on technology and process opportunities for ITC and our clients. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the other CINO innovation team members in specialty technology areas and collaborate on initiatives that will promote innovation withing ITC and our clients.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will work on projects that deliver value to our internal organization and our customers. We are looking for a flexible software engineer that is comfortable in multiple languages, experienced in front end, back end, and database technologies. We require an understanding of agile development, cloud deployments, CI/CD process, low code platforms, and API development. We prefer candidates who are unafraid to tackle new technologies and stretch their competencies to areas of development that they may not have encountered before. Relevant experience for this role includes experience in Node, Python, React, AWS Services, and Docker
Our team is growing and expanding, and you will have a chance to be part of the design, planning and implementation required for our innovation initiatives.

Requirements
- Ability to operate in an Agile SCRUM team
- Past experience developing in Python, React/MaterialUI, Node, Java, FastAPI, and/or .NET
- A strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of automated deployment within an AWS cloud environment using CodeCommit/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Docker including running and composing docker images for applications with multiple docker containers
- AWS understanding of services such as ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, CloudFormation, and CDK
- Proficient in relational and non-relational databases – Postgres, DynamoDB and Athena experience preferred
- Understanding and ability to implement microservices based architectures
- Understanding and ability to implement ETL pipelines and datalake architectures
- Ability to design and code REST and/or Graph APIs
- Review and merge code; per review code with team members as needed
- Linux familiarity and scripting skills
- Understanding and prior use of low-code platforms and analytics tools
- Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science related field with 6+ years of experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred skills:
- Problem Solving - Use technologies to design solutions for key business use cases and provide support for the implementation of the Innovation strategy.
- Leadership Skills - This role requires the ability to interact / lead with other teams and lead discussions relating to specific technical processes.
- Prototyping – Ability to investigate, learn, demonstrate, and implement a variety of solutions across multiple technology and process areas.
- Mentoring – Ability to mentor and guide project performers in the demonstrated technology and process areas so they can be successful in the implementation of any identified innovations.
- Certifications - e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer are a plus
