Functional Analyst with TS/SCI

Paragon Cyber Solutions has an immediate opening for those ready for an exciting and dynamic career as a Functional Analyst  to work amongst a Software Engineering team to deliver Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) web- and portal-based software solutions (applications, dashboards, databases, libraries)

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and organizing information for system specifications and other customer deliverables
• Analyze information system user needs to determine functional requirements
• Apply analytical methods and techniques to assess the information exchange requirements for the organization using knowledge of strategic documents
• Provide technical documentation for software development and integration tasks, including review of work product for correctness, as well as adherence to the design concept and to user standards
• Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions
• Coordinate with systems architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of design solutions
• Conduct risk analysis, feasibility study, and trade-off analysis to develop, document, and refine functional requirements and specifications
• Analyze and define data requirements and specifications.

Requirements

• Ten (10) or more years of documented experience
• Knowledge of the capabilities and functionality associated with various technologies for organizing and managing information
• Knowledge of organizational process improvement concepts and process maturity models
• Skill in conducting capabilities and requirements analysis
• Skill in interfacing with customers in order to effectively gather project requirements
• Skill in critical thinking to analyze organizational patterns
• Skill in performing needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions
• Skill in coordinating and managing the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end
• Ability to create business process maps and workflow visualization tools
• Ability to dissect a problem and examine the interrelationships between data that may appear unrelated
• Ability to assess and prioritize backlog requirements
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
