Insurance Sales Associate

Job duties included (but are not limited to):

• Determine client needs and expectations. Deliver resolution in a timely manner.
• Prospect and onboard new clients.
• Quote and process new business submissions.
• Effectively field underwrite and secure quality new business for the agency.
• Follow-up on actions, needed items from the Underwriting team.
• Prospect for new business opportunities.
• Pivot to additional lines of business and secure appointments.
• Document files of client interactions and transactions.
• Secure insurance licenses within the requested timeframe of the agency.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required, college graduate preferred. Prior client service work history preferred. Candidate must be willing to undergo the appointment process with American National and submit to a background and credit check.

• Insurance experience preferred, but not required.
• Possess the ability to solve complex problems situations in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and follow-up
• Strong communication and organizations skills
• Self-starter takes initiative with little direction.
• Proficient in computer operation systems, such as Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Current and valid insurance license or eligible for licensure- Property & Casualty, and life & health.

Salary and/or Income is based on job position applied for, insurance sales, and hours worked.

I have 20 years of insurance sales experience as well as 29 years of financial sales experience. I have owned and operated this agency for 8 years.

Job Types: Full-time, Commission based. Part-time position also available.
