Job Summary
The Interconnection Coordinator will provide key administrative support to the Interconnection team, which is part of the larger Transmission & Interconnection department in the Development organization of Urban Grid. This role will be responsible to organize incoming and outstanding team workflow items and will timely execute certain tactical functions as needed to ensure success of Urban Grid’s large pipeline of interconnection projects.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all incoming communications received into the shared Interconnection email distribution group, route tasks to appropriate individuals and complete certain routine administrative tasks as identified by the Manager of Interconnection.
- Ensure proper internal routing and tracking of time-sensitive Interconnection project invoices.
- Ensure proper internal routing and tracking of critical and time-sensitive Interconnection project legal agreements. This function will also require that all previously executed interconnection agreements are properly consolidated and stored in Urban Grid’s internal document retention system.
- Prepare and distribute certain monthly/quarterly internal reports relevant to the Interconnection team.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Location: Hybrid presence at the Richmond Office is preferred. Remote work may be acceptable for this role and will be considered on a case by case basis. Position may require periodic travel for team meetings, events or determined on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree or administrative certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing administrative support in a professional, fast-paced environment, such as a law office or logistics hub
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving.
- Strong work ethic and exceptionally high work standards.
