Job Description: ACT1 Federal is seeking an experienced International Agreements Specialist with significant experience in international security cooperation, armaments, foreign technology programs, technology development, and strategic-level US Air Force staff performance.
Responsibilities:
- Playing a central role in supporting the implementation of new, or the modification of existing, international agreements and supporting documentation in assigned areas for the SAF/IAPC review.
- Supporting documents will include Memorandums of Agreements or Understanding (MOAs/MOU), Project Agreements or Project Arrangements (Pas), Data or Information Exchange Annexes (DEAs/IEAs), Loan agreements or Loan arrangements, non-domestic Cooperative Research and Development agreements (CRADAs) and other agreements as determined by the government.
- Support the coordination with Unified Commands, Headquarters Air Force program/project offices, DAF MAJCOMs, and technical program officers and analysts within DAF as well as the rest of the DoD development of international agreements.
- Provide advice and assistance to general officers and Senior Executive Service (SES) officials, escorting them to IAC forums and meetings with foreign officials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred with an emphasis in international affairs, Security Cooperation, and/or International Business curriculum.
- 4 years of experience as a International Agreements Support Specialist/technical writer in a government setting is required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to work DAF Special Access Programs (SAP) is required.
- Experience writing and documenting international agreements, memorandums of agreements, loan agreements/arrangements, Project arrangements/agreements is required.
- Thorough understanding of the IAC development process and IAC legal authorities.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel is required with this position.
