G Squared Capital Partners (“G Squared”) is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join our growing investment banking platform. G Squared is a premier boutique investment bank that provides merger and acquisition advisory, debt and equity placements, and valuation analyses to the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services industry. Since our inception in 2020, G Squared has advised on over 40 transactions, with clients ranging from entrepreneur-owned businesses to publicly traded companies, as well as private entities and private equity firms. Before the establishment of G Squared, the firm’s principals closed over 200 transactions, with an aggregate transaction value of approximately $10 billion.
Applicants for G Squared’s Analyst position should have strong analytical skills, be clear and effective communicators, and possess a superior work ethic. This position will involve all aspects of transaction execution, significant involvement in business development, and the opportunity to participate in firm building activities. We are seeking entrepreneurially minded individuals who want to contribute to the success of a growing organization in a fast-paced environment. As a relatively young firm, we believe this presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take on a high level of responsibility. Specific responsibilities of the position include:
- Execution of M&A transactions as well as equity and debt financings
- Preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements including explanation of historic and projected results
- Coordination and support of due diligence processes
- Preparation of valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow, precedent transactions and comparable companies analyses
- Development of client relationships through deal execution and pitching
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 1-3 years of work experience in finance, technology, or consulting is preferable but not required
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Drive to take ownership of tasks and drive responsibilities beyond basic duties
- Working knowledge of financial statements
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage expectations while supporting multiple projects and priorities
- Interest in the Defense Technology and Government Services Markets
