Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager of Operations for our Radiology department. The Manager of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the radiology department, including staff management, budgeting, quality control, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the radiology department
  • Supervise and provide guidance to radiology staff, including technologists, assistants, and support personnel
  • Ensure that all imaging procedures are performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members
  • Manage departmental budget and resources, including equipment procurement and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety and quality standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in radiology or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in radiology, including supervisory or managerial roles
  • Knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, and technology
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with budgeting and resource management
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in radiology
  • Proficient in using radiology information systems and other relevant software
  • Current certification as a radiologic technologist
  • Valid state license in radiology
  • Advanced certification or specialization in a specific area of radiology is preferred
