ARCpoint Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for our patients. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

As a Medical Records Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare facility. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that all medical records are complete, accurate, and easily accessible. Your responsibilities will include organizing and filing medical records, entering information into electronic databases, and retrieving records as needed. Additionally, you will assist in the coding and billing process, ensuring that all procedures are properly documented and billed.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance providers on a regular basis. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Confidentiality and a strong sense of ethical conduct are essential, as you will be handling sensitive patient information on a daily basis.


Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain medical records in a systematic manner
  • Enter patient information into electronic health records system
  • Retrieve medical records as requested by healthcare professionals
  • Assist in the coding and billing process
  • Ensure that all medical records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and insurance providers to ensure proper documentation and billing
  • Adhere to all relevant privacy and confidentiality regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in electronic health records systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality
