Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.
You will be providing exceptional rehabilitative care to our residents in our Assisted Living, Assisted Living Memory Care, Long-Term care, Skilled Nursing, and Independent Living (Outpatient) neighborhoods. Under the guidance of the Physical Therapist, you will help implement personalized treatment plans, administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, and provide compassionate support to improve the physical function, mobility, and overall quality of life for our senior residents. In this role, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for our residents.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in geriatric physical therapy or a senior living setting (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
