Janes play a crucial role in our Product function. We are currently shifting our focus towards innovation by having the Product Manager closely collaborate with the Head of Innovation. Together, they will translate approved new product ideas into product requirements for the Technology and Research teams. The main responsibilities of this Product Manager will revolve around market testing and user testing new initiatives. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing the go-to-market strategy and sales enablement for new products on a global scale.
How you will contribute at Janes:
You will be responsible for market testing new initiatives. This includes:
- Writing testing documentation and scripts
- Traveling to meet with current and future customers
- Gather and organize customer feedback
- Write clear description of customer problems
- Write clear requirements for Technology and Research teams
- Participate in standup meetings to ensure progress is on track
- Write sales enablement materials
- Review sales enablement materials for product org and rewrite to improve sales effectiveness
- Run sales training workshops
- Own go-to-market launch of new products
- Communicate status updates
- Own new pricing development for new initiatives
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience for this role are:
- Former work experience in the US military or US intelligence community
- Former experience market testing products
- Demonstrated experience in standard user testing process, such as Pragmatic Institute
- Experience in technology and/or data led product management processes
- Strong sales enablement skills
- Experience building pricing models.
- Located in our DC office (Rosslyn, VA)
- Travel 25% of the time
