We are looking for a dynamic Senior Curriculum Specialist to join our team. The Senior Curriculum Specialist will lead the team through the course design process. Coordinate course design, objectives, activities, and assessments. The Senior Curriculum Specialist will directly lead Curriculum Specialists and ISDs to write and/or update learning objectives, author content, create/update instructional material, also plan and create assessments. They will also recommend/select appropriate technologies to enhance the learner’s experience and design courses to support goals. They will assist with developing scenario-based education and other methods to increase learner engagement and motivation. Use P-ADDIE-M and Agile instructional models to design interactive and engaging learning activities. The Senior Curriculum Specialist will demonstrate an ability for professional writing, peer-editing, providing feedback, and improving the quality of deliverables.

Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-level training and development curriculum portfolio from start to finish, including direct supervision of up to three Lead Instructional Systems Designers (LISDs) and one Senior Program Analyst
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders relating to project status updates, delivery and receipt of all deliverables throughout the development cycle, and other relevant touchpoints, including acknowledgment of receipt of all client requests within four business hours
- Present technical updates of existing course content and materials to internal and client stakeholders in a consultative, easy-to-understand manner
- Lead and/or support comprehensive curricular analyses to ensure courses remain current and adhere to adult learning principles, including content alignment, learning objectives, engagement, and activities
- Ensure inter-modal/inter-modular alignment of enabling and terminal learning objectives (ELOs and TLOs), knowledge checks, and intermediate activities across all respective products within the assigned curriculum, as appropriate, for a consistently branded product of the highest quality
- Lead and/or support the triage and dissemination of curricular change inputs (e.g., SME and other stakeholder inputs, changes in policy, etc.) for cross-modality and/or cross-curricular implementation, including coordination with LISDs, other Product Managers, and other functional leaders for inputs that apply to other curricular products
- Ensure accurate and consistent adherence to established standard operating procedures regarding naming conventions, Curriculum Revision Management System (CRMS) inputs, and process flow
- Facilitate collaboration with project administrators and curricular supporting functions team members to ensure orderly handoffs and adherence to project milestones for on-time delivery
- Track, drive, and communicate the overall progress of the assigned curriculum, including early identification of risks and associated mitigation strategies, to all relevant stakeholders
- Attend and/or lead all curriculum-specific client meetings regularly and present relevant updates and proposals in a factual, concise, and collaborative manner
- Oversee all aspects of product testing, including web-based training (WBT) development, LMS testing, and post-launch maintenance
- Lead and/or support internal and external intra-development white glove reviews to ensure error-free product deliverables
- Drive day-to-day management functions of direct and indirect teams (e.g., mandatory training compliance, time logs, performance evaluations, etc.) and long-term professional development
- Conduct research and make recommendations on improving educational best practices, instructional resources, technologies, and multimedia hardware/software
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required / Master’s degree (MA/MS) preferred
- 7 Years of experience
Required Skills:
- Experience in quality deliverable production and action tracking
- Very strong client interaction skills and experience with client facilitation (staff through leadership level), including influencing without authority
- Ability to set priorities and recognize when re-prioritization is needed based on project and client needs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Works well with tight deadlines and adaptable to evolving priorities
- Team player who is a flexible self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Dynamic leader who leads with empathy while ensuring that stakeholder requirements are consistently met
- Attends to details in deliverable production, customer interaction, and action tracking

- Expert in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Working knowledge of synchronous virtual learning platforms, such as Adobe Connect and Microsoft Teams, and associated instructional design theory
- Working knowledge using asynchronous authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline 360, and associated instructional design theory
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with project management applications, such as Asana, Smartsheet, etc.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite
