Job Overview: As a Systems Architect at Maverc Technologies, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing multi-intelligence and multi-domain systems, with an understanding of current object and activity-based models within the intelligence community. Your role will contribute to national efforts to counter chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats. Through leveraging Integrated Biosurveillance (IB), you will support early detection and warning initiatives that enhance situational awareness and enable better decision-making during critical health-related incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess software development or data acquisition requirements to identify and deliver optimum, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with a hybrid team of analysts, engineers, and developers to research, build, and deploy complex yet user-friendly analytical capabilities, or develop plans for new solutions.
- Work closely with data scientists, UX designers, cognitive scientists, developers, and testers to create cohesive and scalable system designs.
- Optimize software designs and architectures to meet performance targets, using appropriate tools and methodologies to profile execution and capture performance metrics.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python or R.
- Expertise in one or more big data programming languages, such as Python or Java.
- Experience in AI/ML model development, containerization, and productization.
- Knowledge graph construction and reasoning experience, including familiarity with property graph or RDF model frameworks.
- Experience with Elasticsearch and related indexing technologies.
- Previous experience researching data analytics or big data, particularly in military or intelligence community environments.
- Experience working with open-source data sources and/or forensic media (DOMEX).
- Familiarity with predictive algorithm development.
- Experience in supporting cybersecurity or network security operations.
- Knowledge of social network analysis, supply chain analysis, forensic accounting, pattern of life analysis, natural language processing, social media analysis, classification algorithms, and/or image processing.
- Ability to blend analytical methodologies and leverage existing COTS/GOTS/OS tools in innovative ways.
