We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer – SME (Configuration Manager) to join our team.
Primary Job Duties & Required Job Qualifications:
· Experienced Change & Configuration Manager with a minimum of 16 years’ experience, and a Bachelors and/or Master’s degree to support our Government Partner with all program related activities including stakeholder management, configuration and change management processes and coordination with the engineers, admins, and analysts.
· Proficiency with Modern code version control tooling (Git, GitLab, GitHub)
· Maintain configuration management associated with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins.
· Manage change and release through an industry standard software\system development lifecycle as well as through a DevOps framework.
· Direct experience developing and delivering architecture diagrams and supporting documentation of highly complex IT systems
· Drive change management implementation from concept to delivery
· Develop using Python, Bash, or other languages
· Create scripts for automation purposes
· Cloud technologies and architecture concepts with ability to design, deploy, and support cloud-based systems
· Familiar with Linux systems including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and recovery
· Strong understanding of network protocols and security
· Experience in deployment and support for internally developed tools and applications
· Debugging and triaging production issue experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
· Foundational cloud concepts associated with one or more of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, or IBM Cloud
· Secrets management in automation pipeline – concept and execution
· Understanding of Python, Bash, Powershell, Ansible, Javascript
· Knowledge of network technologies, common infrastructure components, load balances, firewalls, and infrastructure design
· Experience managing a data operations environment to include maintaining a data catalog
Job Requirements
· Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security is required
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 16 years minimum of relevant professional work experience

Physical Demands: Position will require frequent sitting, standing, and/or mobility within an office setting. Employee must be able to use hands to complete work at a workstation/computer, be able to reach, type and manipulate with hands, fingers, and arms; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; talk, see and hear.
Work Environment: Work is performed on client site in a professional office environment with moderate stress and noise levels. Position requires employee to effectively use a computer, potentially for long periods of time, and to accommodate potentially frequent interruptions. Candidate should be both customer-focused and present a team approach to overall work.
Schedule: Business core hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET. Standard work hours may vary for this position based upon contract requirements. Position will be located onsite at a customer facility.
