We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer – Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team.
Primary Job Duties
· Mass Email Software Developer with a Java Spring developer background to support an enterprise web application servicing thousands of users.
· Possess a minimum of 12 years' experience, and a range of skill levels from basic to advanced.
· Microsoft .NET Developer with significant experience developing web pages and/or Service Applications.
· Modernize/Maintain existing ASP. NET code in visual Studio NET
· Ability to complete ServiceNow requests effectively and efficiently
· Work in an agile environment with monthly sprint cycles
· Develop and update advanced PowerShell scripts
· Identify possible efficiencies and provide documentation and follow through to automate
Required Experience, & Skills:
· Experience Programming in .NET, C#, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, ASP.NET, CORE PowerShell, LINQ, other similar scripting languages
· Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Services (TFS) or similar development tools
· Ability to work effectively in a group environment
· Knowledge and ability to testing applications
Preferred Experience, & Skills:
· Knowledge of mail routing
· Knowledge of Windows Infrastructure
· Experience with WebAPI
· Experience with SharePoint, MS Exchange (desktop client and server), Skype backend Programming
· Experience with SQL server manager and SQL programming
· Knowledge of SharePoint Administrative tasks (SCA) and the ability to manage ServiceNow tickets
· Familiar with Active Directory (DNS/GPO, etc.)
· Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and communication/collaboration design concepts
· Continuous integration, test automation and/or DevSecOps on iterative development projects
· Agile Development methodologies
· Ability to work simultaneously in multiple windows server environments
· Excellent Interpersonal and Communications Skills
· Preferred Cert Microsoft engineering
Job Requirements
· Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security is required
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Sixteen (16) years of relevant professional work experience
· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
· Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships
· Ability to prioritize, demonstrated strong organizational skills, and ability to meet or exceed deadlines
Physical Demands: Position will require frequent sitting, standing, and/or mobility within an office setting. Employee must be able to use hands to complete work at a workstation/computer, be able to reach, type and manipulate with hands, fingers, and arms; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; talk, see and hear.
Work Environment: Work is performed on client site in a professional office environment with moderate stress and noise levels. Position requires employee to effectively use a computer, potentially for long periods of time, and to accommodate potentially frequent interruptions. Candidate should be both customer-focused and present a team approach to overall work.
Schedule: Business core hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. Standard work hours may vary for this position based upon contract requirements. Position will be located onsite at a customer facility.
