Aretum is on the lookout for a skilled Technical Writer/Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will not only document complex technical concepts and processes clearly and concisely but also gather requirements to ensure our solutions align perfectly with client needs. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and project managers, to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Possesses strong technical writing / proofing skills with the ability to produce high quality deliverables and emails.
- Strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate key points with concision and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to thrive in a busy, deadline driven atmosphere.
- Coordination of the delivery of multiple tasks throughout day-to-day operations.
- Adept at capturing technical meeting notes and managing action items.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, finance, and security organizations.
- Basic knowledge of project support methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of Section 508 requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to meeting timelines and requirements; advanced research skills, curiosity to understand how systems or processes work end-to-end.
- Ability to quickly gain expertise in technical/business concepts and communicate detailed information to a non-technical audience.
- Experience and proficiency with MS Teams, MS O365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Adobe.
- Desire to work directly with and build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with Federal Clients on a daily basis
- Ability to develop slides / reports and brief FNS Leadership, as needed.
Requirements
- 4-year degree from accredited University/College.
- Experience supporting Federal clients.
- U.S. Citizenship (Required): Due to federal contract requirements, only U.S. citizens can be considered for this position
- Ability to obtain USDA MBI clearance.
Preferred:
- Ability to leverage cloud-based tools to manage client tasks and resource allocation (e.g., Kanban Boards, SharePoint Lists).
- Familiarity with the development of IT governance and/or business policies & procedures.
- Solid understanding of analytical tools and processes, requirements documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Desire to work within and help grow a positive, collaborative, high-performing team.
- PMP certification or aspirations.
- ITIL or other IT Governance certifications.
