Warehouse/Labor for Moving Company

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse/Labor for a Moving client in Norfolk. As a family-owned staffing company, our goal is to find quality employment candidates like you and match their skills and abilities to our clients' needs. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various moving tasks, including packing, loading, unloading, and organizing items. You will also be required to work in the warehouse, preparing items for transportation and ensuring the overall efficiency of the moving process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packing and loading/unloading items onto trucks
• Ensure that items are properly secured and protected during transportation
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling heavy items
• Collaborate with team members to complete moving projects within a set time frame

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a moving or warehouse environment, not personal moving experience
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely and efficiently
• Ability to adjust to varying temperature conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Good work ethics
• Flexibility to work with a flexible schedule, including long days and weekends
