Bridge33 Capital is a rapidly growing, vertically integrated real estate private equity firm focused on open-air retail real estate. The Company recently raised $458 MM in its latest opportunistic fund, marking a key milestone for the company.
We are seeking an Accounting Manager who will manage a team of property and senior property accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial information for all company assets across the country. This role is based in our Seattle office and come make your mark as an integral part of Bridge33's dynamic, growing team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively manage the Property Accounting team in upholding the integrity of all financials.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of the accounting team.
- Drive the month-end close and year-end close process including the review of financial statement packages to ensure accuracy and consistency of report contents.
- Review presentation of fixed assets for appropriate depreciation/amortization.
- Develop and facilitate training in real estate specific accounting processes, variance analysis review, budget review, operating expense, reconciliation review, and accounting software.
- Manage and facilitate CAM reconciliation process with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Liaise, coordinate, and prepare documentation as needed for the FYE financial audit.
- Ensure proper recording of purchased and sold properties as well as loan refinancing.
- Work in collaboration with the property management team and assigned accountant to successfully transition properties in or out of the portfolio.
- Monitor accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are maintained, accounting principles are followed, and financial data is valid and reliable.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Bridge33 policies and procedures and ensure accountants’ compliance with same.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- 5+ years’ experience in progressively responsible accounting position(s).
- Minimum of 2-3 years direct management experience required.
- Experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry highly preferred.
- Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or similar accounting system highly preferred.
- General understanding of real estate legal documents (leases, property management agreements, purchase, and sale agreements, etc.)
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of accounting methods (cash, accrual, and full GAAP) and financial terms and principles.
- Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach.
- Display good organizational skills, attention to detail, and openness to new ideas and procedures.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

The annual base salary range for this role is $98,640 - $147,960, and the role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
