Full Job Description
Seattle Chocolate Company is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist, with a focus in Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate would have at least three years of AP experience and be ready to learn more to expand their career in accounting.

Schedule and expected hours: This hybrid position requires on-site attendance for 3 days per week. Full-time, day shift. 32 hours/week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours/week, based on demands of the business. Flex hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Compensation: $26-$28/hour, depending on experience.
Reports to: VP of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather supplier invoices digitally.
- Distribute supplier invoices for approval.
- Post and reconcile supplier invoices.
- Manage supplier monthly statements and keep accounts current.
- Assist with weekly check runs and ACH batches.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations.
- Maintain W-9s for new suppliers.
- Work in collaboration with other Accounting team members for backup and support.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AP.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Adobe skills.
- Able to establish and meet work priorities.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Food industry experience a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and communicate with all involved departments and parties.
- Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous.
- Detail-oriented.
- Autonomous/independent - enjoys working with little direction.
