About the Role :
The Credentialing Coordinator will oversee all day-to-day delegated credentialing processes and will spearhead Credentialing and Oversight Committee meetings and communication with delegated insurance payors. This role works closely with the Assistant Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to all contractual requirements set by delegated payors. The Delegation Coordinator is a highly collaborative position and will regularly liaise with the Credentialing and Compliance Team, Contracts Team, and Recruiting and Onboarding Team regarding provider approvals, payor processing timelines, formal complaints, and adverse events. Must have have excellent communication skills and a detailed understanding of credentialing processes.
Work Environment:
- The position is a hybrid position based at Mindful Support Services’ Mountlake Terrace, WA Headquarters.
- Initial and subsequent training will be conducted in-office before switching to a hybrid schedule, so only local candidates will be considered.
- This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day delegated credentialing processes
- Facilitate Credentialing and Oversight Committee meetings and complete related operational tasks
- Monitor provider preparation for Credentialing and Oversight Committee and provide real-time feedback to Credentialing Specialists and Onboarding Specialists
- Triage incoming formal complaints, prepare relevant complaints for review by the Credentialing and Oversight Committee, and coordinate with management as needed
- Prepare and submit rosters for delegated payors
- Track delegated credentialing metrics and regularly escalate outliers with payor representatives
- Complete Monthly Ongoing Monitoring audits and facilitate interdepartmental response to non-compliant providers
- Assist with coordination of routine payor audits, prepare needed materials for review, and implement payor feedback as necessary
- Collaborate with Credentialing and Compliance Team Managers as well as Onboarding and Recruiting Team Managers to identify and carry out shared objectives
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of relatable credentialing experience preferred
Core Competencies :
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Proficiency with various office technologies, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
