Position Summary
Equipment Experts, Inc. is seeking skilled Field Diesel Mechanics to add to its satellite team in Everett, WA.
As a Field Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring the quality of field repairs for our valued customers. The Field Mechanic plays a crucial role: aligning excellent diagnostic and repair abilities with our customer’s need to deliver excellence safely. This position is highly collaborative, internally facing and requires a high level of experience and understanding of universal system functions.
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Range: $25/hr to $45/hr based on relevant experience, plus monthly bonuses
Sign-On Bonus: $2,500, with an additional $2,500 retention bonus after six months
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm (some variance in start time)

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, accurately document machine repairs and information per service order
- Communicate the status of ongoing jobs with customers, service advisors, and lead technicians
- Conduct thorough inspections per unit, ensuring complete documentation
- Possess adequate tooling to perform repairs safely and effectively

Capabilities and Key Competencies
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Eagerness to learn and repair various types of equipment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate positively with team members
- Quick and accurate decision-making skills
- Experience in repairing a variety of equipment
- Proficient in documenting repairs as they occur
- Familiarity with using tablets and smartphones for work-related tasks
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a service truck
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a production or fleet shop
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day
- Wear required personal protective equipment as required
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Comfort working around hazardous materials and in varying weather conditions
