Currently, we are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join and support our Human Resources team and contribute to the overall excellence of work coming from the firm.
POSITION SUMMARY
As an HR Coordinator, you will provide administrative and HR support to the Human Resources department and assist with various HR processes and programs. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, managing HR databases, and handling general HR inquiries.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the management of HR policies and procedures.
- First point of contact for answering employee inquiries regarding hiring, onboarding, status changes, and offboarding.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Employee Status Changes and Data Management
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and completing necessary paperwork.
- Supports the leave of absence process and management of alternative work schedules
- Provide general HR support and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Support Talent Management Initiatives and Employee Annual Reviews
- Creates, runs, and distributes ad-hoc HRIS reports, including but not limited to leave absence, employee rosters, reporting relationships, and individual management requests as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field or similar role with equivalent work experience
- Minimum two (2) year of experience in a professional setting
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and effectively prioritizes multiple activities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Has a passion for organizing information, exhibits a high attention to detail and takes responsibility for delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and an aptitude for presenting opportunities for process improvement and technology solutions.
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to present solutions and recommendations for non-standard situations.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing in a respectful and kind manner. Handles sensitive topics and information with discretion and confidentiality.
Benefits
At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position in Seattle is between $60,000 and $65,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
